the motorcycle bmw m 1000 rr 2023
BMW Motorrad continues to improve its range of sports motorcycles by now tackling its most modern model: the M 1000 RR. After the renewal of the S 1000 RR which has gained in power and the presentation of the roadster M 1000 R , the manufacturer offers a first evolution to its M 1000 RR which was born last year. For this 2023 vintage, the Bavarian brand has focused on improving the aerodynamics of its hypersports, which results in a significant increase in top speed.
here no big change:
No big change in the heart of the German sporty that is still powered by the 999 cm3 inline 4-cylinder ShiftCam engine still delivering 212 horsepower at 14.500 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11.000 rpm. Titanium valves, forged pistons and other anti clutchdribble also remain similar to the previous vintage.great stability:
The M fins of the fairing have also been redesigned to further increase the aerodynamic support on the front of the bike, both in a straight line and on the angle, to ensure more stability, to naturally reduce the risk of wheeling or to improve the speed of curve crossing. Concretely, the support force has been increased by nearly 40% compared to the previous model with a maximum value that now reaches 22.6 kg at 300 km/h against 16.3 kg before.optimizing the aerodynamics of the wheel:
The work also focused on optimizing the aerodynamics of the front wheel with the integration of carbon brake cooling ducts in addition to those associated with the front fender. Particularly effective beyond 250 km/h, these new elements are however only available as an option through the M Competition pack that is recognized by its black color.M Carbon rims have a new lacquered finish and can now be replaced
by more conventional forged rims.
a rear more dynamic style:
The rear of the M 1000 RR has been redesigned for a lighter and more dynamic style. There is a small plate holder and a new M Endurance saddle. The bracket and rear lights can now be disassembled more easily.the rest of the bike remains identical to the previous vintage.
The new BMW M 1000 R at a glance:
- Engine based on the BMW S 1000 RR with Shiftcam technology, 154 kW (210 hp) at 13 750 rpm, 33 kW (45 hp) more than the BMW S 1000 R. Maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11 000 rpm (BMW S 1000 R: 114 Nm at 9 250 rpm).
