THE BEST LUXURY ELECTRIC CARS:
Attention, we enter here in the field of luxury and over the top. Very high-end vehicles are slowly transitioning to electric and are taking full advantage of the benefits of technology. On the menu, power monsters that make even the most ambitious supercars blush.-PORSCHE TAYCAN CROSS TURISMO:
Although there is still a reference in the field of thermal sports, Porsche is working on a switch to electric, starting with the Taycan sedan. However, we chose its break version for this category. Beyond a frankly successful look, the finish is impeccable and a notch above what a brand like Tesla offers. Most importantly, it’s one of the fastest electric cars we’ve ever built.A station wagon version of the Porsche Taycan, the Taycan Cross Turismo is a bit more adventurous than the sedan. It is available in four versions, 4, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. The entry price of the 4 Cross Turismo version is 86,254 euros.
Exterior design of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo:
The design of the Taycan Cross Turismo did not surprise at its presentation. Indeed, it takes the front part of the sedan, and is largely inspired by the Mission E Cross Turismo concept, from which it takes the whole design. The addition of black wheel arches and rocker panels has been retained to give the vehicle an even more rugged look.
This electric station wagon does, however, get classic wheels, whereas the concept had wheels designed more for off-roading. Despite its hunting wagon appearance, the Taycan Cross Turismo offers 4 doors and 4 seats. Its aluminum, steel and carbon bodywork features a receding roofline and a rather small rear window topped by a spoiler.
The instrumentation behind the steering wheel appears on a 16-inch screen, which shows the meters as well as essential data such as speed, range, kilometers traveled, or consumption.
Next to it, a 10.9-inch screen overhangs the center console and shows multimedia data, including music and GPS. Other information about the car, such as detailed fuel consumption data, can be displayed here.
An 8.4-inch screen is placed below it on the center console, between the air vents and the storage compartments. It is touch-sensitive and allows you to manage the multi-zone climate control. A similar screen is also available in the rear for passenger seat ventilation.
A screen also appears in front of the passenger. The touch controls can be replaced by voice control for added safety, responding to "Hey Porsche". There is a choice of leather or fabric upholstery, the latter made from recycled materials.

Interior of the Porsche electric station wagon :
The interior of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is the same as that of the Taycan, and is strongly inspired by the Mission E concept. Powertrain and performance of the Taycan Cross Turismo:
The electric motors of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo are the same as in the electric sedan. They are derived from the 919 program. Three different power ratings are available depending on the trim level.
The Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has 280 kW of power (380 hp) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds thanks to 500 Nm of torque with Launch Control. The 4S Cross Turismo with 360 kW (490 hp) does 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, and the torque is 650 Nm with Launch Control.
The most powerful versions, named Turbo and Turbo S, have 450 kW (625 hp). Torque rises to 850 Nm for this engine, and the 0 to 100 km/h from a standing start is close to 3 seconds.
Thanks to the boost, which is available on all ranges and offers a few extra horses, the Turbo S can develop 560 kW, or 761 hp. The torque is then 1050 Nm and the 0 to 100 km/h is swallowed in 2.8 seconds.

Battery and range of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo:
The platform used by Porsche for the Taycan is used for its Cross Turismo station wagon. The manufacturer has developed a battery pack installed between the axles, which not only lowers the center of gravity, but also homogenizes the weight distribution.
Unlike the sedan version, only one battery pack is available in the catalog. It is the most important one, with a 93.4 kWh battery, giving between 419 km for the Turbo S version, and 453 for the 4S version, kilometers of autonomy.
